Love is a universal emotion, yet it is experienced differently by each person, simultaneously. Even for one person, love could be paradoxical, complex, and ever-changing over time. Through three characters, the author delicately portrays the subtle relationship between lovers and the inner thoughts of the characters with a sensuous writing style. It also makes me think about the conflict between pursuing personal happiness and societal approval, and the choices I face when they clash.
For me, the true essence of this book lies in its title: Do You Like Brahms…
