The paper we will discuss is titled "Role of Plasma Elongation on Turbulent Transport in Magnetically Confined Plasmas" by P. Angelino et al., published in Physical Review Letters (Vol. 102, 195002, 2009).

This paper explores the impact of elongation, one of the plasma shaping parameters, on the linear and nonlinear mechanisms of ion temperature gradient (ITG) turbulence.
